Covers a method based on the revised Roese-Gottlieb method for milk as specified in ISO 1211. The sampling shall be made as prescribed in ISO 707, with all laboratory examples, except dried ice-mixes, having to be kept at a temperature of not more than -18 degrees centigrade from the time of sampling to the time of commencing the procedure. An alternative procedure using fat-extraction tubes with siphon or wash-bottle fittings is described in the annex.
