Photography; Determination of thiosulphate and other residual chemicals in processed photographic films, plates and papers; Methylene blue photometric method and silver sulphide densitometric method
Описание (англ.):
The methods described are not applicable to stabilized black-and-white products. The methylene blue method measures only thiosulphate in the range from 0.1 to 45 g of thiosulphate ion per square centimetre. The sample shall be tested within 2 weeks of processing. The silver sulphide method measures thiosulphate, polythionates and other residual chemicals that react with the silver ion to give silver sulphide. Test results from this method may beconverted to thiosulphate concentration.
