Defines the particular conditions for the determination of the viscosity number of PVC resins with reference to the guidelines for viskosity measurements in part 1 of this standard. Applies to homopolymers andcopolymers of vinylchloride, in which the main constituent is vinylchloride. The measurement is carried out with solution of 5g/l polyvinylchloride in cyclohexanone. Limiting viskosity number is not applied to PVC resins.
