The guidance describes methods for obtaining conditions for the successful keeping. It includes conditions of harvesting and putting into store, and optimum conditions, such as temperature, relative humidity, air circulation, storage life, further adjuncts and other methods of keeping. Table 1 gives recommended temperatures and the expected storage life for 26 varieties. Table 2 summarizes for 14 varietiesparameters for controlled-atmosphere storage. Limits of application are given in an annex.
