Specifies the principal dimensional characteristics of V-ribbed pulley groove profiles, together with the corresponding endless V-ribbed belts of the profiles which are used for general industrial applications. The PK belt was originally established for automotive accessory drive applications and ISO 9981 deals specificallywith that particular field. In detail, the standard indicates for pulleys: groove dimensions and tolerances, minimum effective diameter, tolerances of finished pulley, pitch diameter, designation of pulleys, and for belts: belt dimension, measurement of effective belt length, and designation of belts.
