Three types of sections are specified: round sections square sections, rectangular sections with various rations of height to width (approximately 1,25, or 1,6 or 2). The dimensions are shown in two tables, giving respectively the dimensions in millimetres and the corresponding dimensions in inches. GIves tolerances for tool shanks without special need for precision.
