The test pieces of plastics are mounted on specified test racks together with means for measurement of the accepted light dosage (light dosage recorders or blue wool standards). The test racks are inclined in an angle of 45 and the glass plate is vounted 75 mm obove the test pieces, in order to ensure free air circulation around the test pieces. After specified light ageing periods thetest pieces are removed from the test rack and tested in comparison to test pieces of the same material stored in darkness.
