The requirements apply to an international acceptable series of pyknometers for the determination of the densities of liquids. The types and series of sizes are tabled with the capacities. The construction of the different types, the graduation lines and inscriptions are specified. A device suitable for adjusting the liquid level in the neck of the Reischauer pyknometer is shown in the annex.
