Testing laboratory accreditation systems; general recommendations for the acceptance of accreditation bodies

The object of this Guide is to provide guidance for the setting up and operation of an accreditation body and to facilitate agreements on mutual recognition of accreditations of testing laboratories between such bodies. It sets out recommendations that an accreditation body should follow if it is to be recognized at a national or an international level as competent and reliable in assessing and subsequently accrediting testing laboratories.
