Instructions for use of products of consumer interest

This Guide establishes principles recommended to committees preparing standards related to products that require instructions for their use. These principles may also be useful for any other party drafting instructions for use. In detail, the recommendations refer to instruction clauses in standards, location of instructions, text, advice for drafting and editing instructions for use,durability and availability of the instructions. The annex gives a checklist.
