Indication of the degree of equivalence between national standards and international standards; addendum 1

Supplements ISO/IEC Guide 3-1981 and ISO/IEC Guide 21-1981 with the aim to offer guidelines to national standard bodies wishing to indicate in their catalogues, lists, data bases or other media, the degree of equivalence between their national standards and the corresponding International Standard. The present guidelines represent the best agreement that could be reached at this stage,internationally. Three stages of indication are given: identical (idt), equivalent (eqv), or not equivalent (neq).
