Evaporation to dryness of a test portion in the presence of hydrofluoric and concentrated sulfuric acid. Extraction of the soluble salts with a mixture of hydrochloric and sulfuric acid. Determination of the residual bariumsulfate. Applicable to products having bariumsulfate contents greater than 0,1 %.
