This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (i. e. ISO 3923-3:1980). The method is applicable to powders that will not flow freely through a 5 mm diameter orifice. It is not applicable to powders having particles which may disintegrate during vibration, for esample agglomerated, fibrous or acicular particles.
