Paints and varnishes; Determination of resistance to humid atmospheres containing sulphur dioxide

Specifies a procedure for coating materials and related products. The test method allows for different amounts of sulphur dioxide. 0,2 l is generally recommended for testing coatings of thickness not exceeding about 40 um. Testing apparatus is an airtight cabinet in the base of which is water-tight trough fitted with means of heating the water. Test panels shall be arrenged vertically in a stand for test panels.
