This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (i.e. ISO 3004-2:1979). This part of ISO 3004 lays down the dimensions in accordance with ISO 1361.Can measurements are given in accordance with the requirements laid down in ISO 90-1. In the designation 'non-round cans' are included: rectangular cans, oval cans, trapezoidal cans, tapered cans with rectangular sections.
