Rubbers, raw; Sampling for inspection by variables

Specifies uniform procedure for sampling from lots of raw rubbers. Applies to the determination of a single quality characteristic which can be measured on a continuous scale and for which quality can be expressed in terms of a percentage defective. The theory underlying the development of the sampling plans for inspectin by variables assumes that measurements of thequality characteristics are independent, identically distributed normal random variables. Two tables refer to the sampling plan and estimation of lot % defective.
