Specifies the quality requirements for plates of weldable fine grain steels (grain size 6 or finer). Each steel type is subdivided into a basic grade, an elevated temperature grade (symbol H), and a low temperature grade (symbol L). Gives chemical composition, mechanical properties and heat treatment, deviations between specified analysis and ladle analysis, impact properties, minimum 0,2 % proof stressvalues at elevated temperatures, and conditions for taking the test piece for mechanical tests from the samples.
