Specifies two gravimetric methods. They are applicable, with certain limitations, to a concentration range of 1 to 15 % (m/m) of silicon in natural iron ores, and iron ore concentrates and agglomerates, including sinter products. Describes principle, reagents, apparatus, sampling and samples, procedure, expression of results and test report.
