Specifies principle, apparatus, test piece, calibration and procedure of the test. The principle is based on the rapid compression of a disk-shaped test piece between small parallel plates. The thickness at the end of compression is taken as the measure of plasticity. Replaces the first edition (ISO 2007-1975).
