Natural rubber latex concentrate; Determination of boric acid content

The method specified applies, when the natural rubber latex concentrate contains preservative agents and has been prepared by some type of concentration process. The boric acid content is determined from the amount of alkali required to restore the pH of the test portion to 7.5. Reagents, calculation of the concentration, apparatus, procedure and the formula to express the results are given. Minor revision of the first edition (ISO 1802-1974).
