Specified are simple, internationally recognizable markings for extinguishing exposed colour roll film from black-and-white film so as to prevent colour roll film from being inadvertently processed as black-and-white film. The markings also distinguish colour reversal roll film from colour negative roll film. The specification apply to all types and sizes of colour roll film which is pooled with a continuous backingpapier or with paper leaders at the film ends and which are intended for use in still picture cameras.
