The dimensions (length and inner diameter) of named tubes are specified. Also specified are the dimensions and tolerances of the gauges for checking the tubes. Tube sizes are contained in the tables 1 and 3; they shall be chosen from the specified dimensions. Gauges shall conform to dimensions and tolerances specified in tables 2a) or 2b) or tables 4a) or 4b). - Replaces the first edition of 1975 and also ISO3296-1975 of which this standard constitutes a technical revision.
