Describes a method for determining the flexural creep of plastics in the form of standard test specimens under defined conditions such as pretreatment, temperature and humidity. It applies only to a simple freely supported beam loaded at midspan. The primary data shall normally be presented as creep curves, showing the average of two individual flexural strains against logarithmic time at different stress levels.
