Specification of requirements and methods of test for alloys composed mainly of silver, tin and copper, complaying with the composition requirements in either the powder or tablet form. This standard bases on the FDI Specification No. 1 and is an updating with respect to composition requirements, preparation and test methods and marking and designation by the manufacturer. Moulds for dental amalgam specimens are illustrated.
