Defined are the required purity and test methods for 1-phenyl-3-pyrazolidone (Phenidone) of photographic grade. Defined are the necessary chemical and physical properties. If feasible, only those tests are specified which can be carried out in a normally equipped laboratory, and the number of reagents to be used was kept as low as possible.
