Establishes a code for the designation of these milling cutters, with the purpose of simplifying orders and specifications for such tools. Gives symbols for the cutter diameter, for the type of cutter and for the insert cutting edge angle, for the number of slots, for the cutting direction of the cutter, for the protruding length of the shank type milling cutter, for the type of shank, for the size of the shank, for the method of holding the insert, for the insert shape,for the normal clearance of insert and for the cutting length of the milling cutter.
