Gives recommendations concerning the storage conditions, storage facilities, handling and inspection for processed photographic plates. Defines terms and recommends practices for black-and-white, silver-image plates, the storage recommendations may also be applied to colour plates, toblack-and-white plates altered by dyes or toners, and to specified other plates. Annexes A to F deal with examples of dimensions and construction of photographic filing enclosures, humidity during storage, temperature during storage, air-entrained and gaseous impurities, fire protection, and microscopic blemishes.
