Specification of a method for the determination of the peel resistance of adhesive bonds between one rigid metallic adherend and one flexiblemetallic adherend when prepared and tested under specified conditions. description of the required testing machine and the peel test roller fixture. The test specimens shall be prepared in accordance with either the manufacureers bonding instructions or an appropriate Intenational Standard. The thickness of the flexible adherend shall be 0,5 +- 0,2 mm and that of the rigid adherend shall be 1,6 +- 0,1 mm. The peeling resistanc is expressed as the average peeling force in kN/m, taken from an autographic curve. The maximum and minimum forces for each individual specimen shall also be recorded.
