Specifies fundamental methods of calculating the steady state thermal properties of building elements. Includes simplified methods for calculations relative to homogeneous plane elements which can be applied where the calculation for the structure in question is not covered by International Standards dealing with thermalbridges. The effect of imperfect workmanship is a factor depending upon the type of construction, the combinations of materials used and the control system. It should be taken into account either by a correction factor or by a security factor.
