Covers components the leavers of which move around one or more vertical axes and does not apply to components the leaves of which move around horizontal axes or move by translation. The Annex gives exmples of designation. Three further annexes contains the following: X - figures of single leaf doors, Y - the selction of symbols, and Z - mnemonic rules for determing the direction of rotation related to the position of the observer.
