Establishes unambiguous abbreviations for ingredients other than polymers. The names are a consensus of world opinion derived from common usage in industry and commerce rather than from any systematic nomenclature. In technical papers or presentations the name of the ingredients should be used, if possible. The list is not comprehensive and other abbreviations will be added in future revisions.
