This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (i.e. ISO 3115:1984) and ISO 2119:1972. It specifies the chemical composition and the minimum mechanical properties of castings in magnesium-zirconium-silver-rare earth alloy (table 1 and 3, respectively) and in a series of magnesium-zinc-zirconium alloys (table 2 and 4, respectively).
