Specifies a system of tolerances for the dimensions of castings. Applicable to the dimensions of cast metals and their alloys produced by sand moulding, gravity die casting, low pressure and high pressure die casting, and investment casting. Applies both to general tolerances given on a drawing and to individual and particular tolerances.
