Lays down the dimensions relating to the installation of lifts designed mainly for the transport odf goods which are generally accompanied by persons. Deals more specifically with electric traction lifts. The horizontal dimensions of the well allow the installation of hydraulic lifts with the same load and the same car and door dimensions. Applies to new installations with a car with one entranceand to speeds not exceeding 2.50 m/s. Part 1 covers the lifts of classes I, II and III, part 3 service lifts of class V, part 5 control devices, signals and additional fittings, and part 6 planning and selection of passenger lifts.
