Extension to rupture of a strip of woven fabric (50 mm x 350 mm) by a suitable tensile testing apparatus, which indicates the breaking force and the breaking elongation. At least 5 specimens for each direction shall be tested. The arithmetic means of the breaking force and of breaking elongation are calculated and reported.
