Fixes the car dimensions appropriate for residential buildings, offices, hotels, nursing homes and hospitals. Deals more specifically with electric traction lifts. The horizontal dimensions of the well allow the installation of hydraulic lifts with the same characteristics. Applies to new installations with a carwith one entrance and to speeds not exceeding 2.50 m/s. Part 2 covers the lifts of class IV, part 3 service lifts of class V, part 5 control devices, signals and additional fittings, and part 6 planning and selection of passenger lifts.
