Specifies a procedure for measuring the sound pressure levels produced at specified measurement points by the source under test and by a reference source. The required quantity is calculated from the measured values by using environmental corrections. Applies to sources which radiate broad-band noise, narrow-band noise, discrete tones and combinations thereof, but primarily to sources that radiate steady noise.
