Specifies assembly, adjustment and inspection procedures for the binding mechanism, integrating in a practical way the requirements of ISO 5355, ISO 8061, ISO 8364 and ISO 9462. Applies to a ski-binding-boot system for alpine skiing, in which at least one component is owned by the user. For the other case, in which both components (SB and B) are rented, anotherinternational standard is being prepared. Is intended for all individuals and institutions which are concerned with the above-mentioned procedures, and especially sport retailers.
